Glamping 101

Once upon a time in a land not to far away, Ami and I would put on our backpacks and disappear for days at a time. Happily living off of granola mix, freeze dried meals and candy bars. Then came our son Orion and then Cassi and then camping changed. In fact I am told this is not camping but glamping is the correct description. But I have to say despite the 25 pound 6 person Big Agnes tent with vestibule, four duffle bags packed with clothes and diapers we are still doing it. So in the next few weeks, months and YouTube links. I hope to share some lessons that have been working for us. Not gonna lie, its not easy all the time, but when you sit back on your camp chair and watch your child engaging with the wilderness then you know it is all worth it.

Happily married to an absolute dream come true woman, Ami. Who has blessed me with two absolute dream come true children, Orion and Cassi. Now my goal everyday is to do life with my children. Whether I go shopping or in the kitchen cooking, my children will be right there with me. Talking through my actions, involving them in decision making and understanding options available. Pitching tents, trails to hike and adventures to come, they will be my side.
