So, check this out, I am going to post a few blogs to get warmed up here. This is Orion doing some shopping at a dollar store, cool, kind of. But here is the rest of the story. I gave him an item limit which was one dinosaur and one Easter item. We walked up and down each aisle, randomly selecting items from the shelf. Pausing periodically to weigh his options for one item versus another. Constantly asking him questions. In fact, if you were an observer from another aisle you might think I was talking to an older kid. This is what we do, constantly talking, whether he understands or not. Anyways, 45 minutes later and two items for him, we made our way out. Take your child shopping. Talk to them about every item on the shelf. Ask for their input if they may like it or not. When I do this, Orion does not know the difference between extra virgin olive oil and regular oil. But when I talk about it to him, he is fired up and agreeing.
